How to get sponsored by a skateboarding company?

Is this true. it will be very hard to get sponsored in the future for an old company for skateboarding?

• because they will be a lot better of a pro and you will be at the beggining of pro. they are looking for a pro. who is a lot better to be on the team. the pros who are on that team have been pro even since you started skateboarding. for an example: stevie williams is a skateboarder who is 23 and been skateboarding since age 11 currently which means 12 years. i have been skateboarding for 2 years since i was 10 and i am 12. later, when i go pro. i can't be on his dgk ( dirty ghetto kids) team because he is a lot better and looking for someone who is a lot better than him and i am at the beggining of pro. the only brand you could get sponsored when you just become pro are new brands and brands that you don't go on to tour for like bones bearings, ricta wheels, grind king trucks, shorty's hardware, doh dohs bushings, or any truck company or bearing, wheel, bushings, hardware, energy drink, or jewerly( nixon). will still sponsor you if you just went pro for brands that have been around for
