How do you learn to roller skate?

I don,t know how to roller skate or ice skate . which is easy to do or learn ?

    ice skating is definately the easiest..why? cause stopping is SOOO MUCH EASIER and you dont gather as much speed involuntarily. The myth that its harder cause of the "thin blade" isn't true, i could do it the first time i tried...which means anyone can do it. : )

i dont know how to do either, but it woudl seem that roller skating would be easier. ice skating, you just have that thin blade on the ice, while with roller skating, you have four wheels. two wheels in front, and 2 in the back. seems much more stable

First try a easy course, then try a harder course than the firast one you did.Keep trying and trying until you get it rite. That's what I would do.

to me roller skating is you have 4 wheels , ice skating has one blade. and I could never do it. as much as i tried, but thats just me. everyone is different.

I have done both, roller skating is MUCH easier,,,balancing on four wheels as opposed to a thin blade,,,no contest there!

rollerskating is easier than ice skating...last winter, I went 2 ice skate 4 di 1st time and I was skating as if I done it before. that was because I know how 2 rollerblade and rollerskate. learn rollerblading or rollerskating 1st then advance 2 ice skating cuz ice skating is easy if u know how 2 rollerblade/skate.
