How to do front and back handsprings?

  • I can do a front walk over, and a back walk over easy enough. When I take a running start, I can almost do a front/back handspring, but I have trouble lifting myself. Even if I can do that, I have waaaay too much momentum! I will flip over, land on my feet, and the rush forward onto my knees. If anyone can explain how to do handsprings, that would be AWESOME! Thanks!
