How can i convince my family to let me be skater?

  • I'm a 12 year old girl and aspire to be Skater. But im not sure how to go about it? I really want the look, and I want to buy a skateboard so i can actually skate. I will not be poser. And ill make sure i can actually skate before I start dressing up like one. I don't know how to convince my parents to let me be Skater though. They arent the kind of people I could tell straight off. I have enough money to get a decent board, and clothes. When I next go shopping I'm goog to buy a beanie hat. My best friend has agreed to be aswell. We were kind of Emo before and we bothwant a change. How can i let my parents know I want to be skater without actually telling them? And how. Can i get the look agedd 12? Thanks =D x
