Bowling tips?

My daughter is going bowling for the first time tomorrow any tips?

  • She Has never gone bowling before...unless it is on the Wii. Her friend is having a sleepover/bowling party...her mother is really strict when it comes to "friends" coming over.Like one friend per month! So my daughter's friend is really good at bowling. They go almost every weekend! My daughter doesn't want to make a fool of herself(but probably will) ANY TIPS AT ALL?

She can not bowl as well as someone who has been bowling regularly for a long time, so she just needs to have fun. Use a ball that is not too heavy, don't try to over power the ball, swing it back and let the weight of the ball start the forward motion.
