How can I make the Cheerleading Squad ?

  • I have NO experience at all. I'm not very flexible. I don't have any tumbling skills. I can't do herkies. & I can't afford classes. Please give me any advice<3 I have about 4 months to become more flexible. What's the fastest way? & im too scared to do flips , TIPS PLZ? thankss<333 (:

ive been doingg cheerleading for a while :] i was NEVER fleexible at all . but i though myself . when i was bored i would push my self to do a split . or i would get my friend to push me down . lol it took awhile but i goott itt . nd i learned how to doo backhand springs by myself allsso . i have this friend whoss really strong lol , nnd i made her spot me . i made a mat so i wouldnt hurt myselff . nd she spoteed me . i guess you can go on youtubbe and see some of the videos on how to do one . practice your herkies ! you need to be able to do that if you have to go threw try outs ! do youur best :] hope you makee itt .

Im guessing this is High school, if your an underclassman i would go tryout w/ a friend (winter season tryouts were a long time ago btw D:) for JV coaches don't go crazy w/ cuts so if your cute and practice w/ your friend(s) u should make it and if you dont make it and your friend does call her a ***** and try again next year

stretch about half an hour a day, or add stretches to your everyday activities. like if you drop something, pick it up without bending your knees. stretch in the shower. don't bend your knees when you tie your shoes. find way to incorporate stretching in your everyday life. ask your mom or friend to hold your legs while you stand on your hands. stay like this for a little while everyday, so this helps you to face your fear. then when you're ready, ask them to let go slowly, and to catch your legs again if you begin to fall. then when you have standing on your hands down, ask them to bring your legs backwards, so it's like a flip. this works for cartwheels as well. i suggest saving money into a shoebox under your bed for these classes. cut out buying junk food and snacks to save money. ask your mom that this is what you want to do and she might help you out. do some extra chores, babysit, sell crafts, anything to save some money.

I use to be just like you, and I didn't have none of that. but I wanted to cheer so I went to try-outs and I got picked because my spirit and willing to learn. Now, I'm a competitive cheerleader I don't cheer for school anymore but If it's what you want to do go for it if they don't pick you....well, freak them.

first get sexy and u will be a shoe in for the squad but just every day stretch ur body a lot and go online and practice ballet moves and u should be good
