    On the field, Michael Thomas scoring in the last minute to earn Arsenal their first title for 17 years. Off it Signing Arsene Wenger as Manager, whose skill enables us to compete with richer clubs, and who shard a vision to build a stadium for the future

I'd have to say that a great defining moment was when Len Dawson signed with the Kansas City Chiefs (at the time the AFL's Dallas Texans) and led the team to two super bowls, I and IV, eventually winning against the Vikinings in Super Bowl IV. If not for him the Chiefs would still be without a Super Bowl win/apperance.

Well I am a Minnesota Vikings fan, but have only been watching since 1998. So for me it has to be one play. Gary Anderson missing the pretty short game winning field goal that would have sent the Vikes to the Superbowl that they probably would have won. Before that is old stuff to me but the Herschel Walker trade was a giant boo boo. Hiring Bud Grant as head coach did wonders and the effects are still felt to this day as he still consults with the team.
