How do you do a kickflip on a skateboard?

  What you want to do is push down on your tail with some pretty good force, and RIGHT after you do that jump and slide your foot up the side of the board at the same time, and flick your foot your foot off the nose. You need to work on the flick because that's the biggest part. It takes practice, so don't worry about showing your friends, get the hang of it first and the more you practice the faster you'll get it. Don't get frustrated with yourself if you can't do it after awhile, the kickflip is a pretty annoying trick to learn. Just have fun with it!
