How can I make my high school varsity cheerleading squad?

• I used to be on JV cheer last season and decided not to try out until I am certain that I can make Varsity. I recently (like in late May) started to take gymnastics lessons and so far, I know how to do a cartwheel on left hand, a cartwheel 1-2 (a short form for round off), the splits except for my middle, and am working on back-walkovers. Can you please help me figure out what else I need to know for the tryouts in Novemeber and how I can practice them?!! Thanks sooo much! :]

  Well to make high school cheer, you have to be really good. Look at the other cheerleaders, take note on what they are doing and make it your goal. But in most cases, to make high school, you have to be able to do at least a roundoff back handspring x2 and in some cases you have to know how to do a roundoff back handspring back tuck. Also remember jumps, jumps take you very far. They include the: toe touch, herkey (don't know how to spell that), pike, and hurdler. Depending on your height and weight, determins if you're a base or a flier.
