Where do i buy spandex for volleyball?

  • this is the first year i am trying out for volleyball and everyone says i need to buy spandex. i have seen theirs but i don't want to sound stupid and ask them where they got them. so where do i buy spandex to like wear under my shorts and sweatpants and how much does it usually cost?

    Any sports store.. such as Sports Authority. Don't walk into a basketball, football, hockey store expecting to find any. Make sure it's an all sports store. Usually the stores are like big but you should find everything in it. A volleyball, knee pads, spandex, knee brace, hair bands, knee high socks, volleyball shoes. Since your a beginner I recommend knee pads, spandex, and volleyball shoes. But, you can also buy a volleyball to practice with and improve your skills. The socks are optional, and they usually look good at volleyball games or practices. The shoes will help you play better on the court. Anyways, you can do it online or at a store, I prefer going to the store so you can get the right size. Underarmour spandex is a good brand. Mizuno knee pads is also good. And Tachikara Volleyball : ) along with Asics volleyball shoes. It's all up to you though! Underarmour spandex, or any good spandex is usually around 15-20 dollars. Mizuno kneepads maybe $10-20. Asics Volleyball shoes $40+ Tachikara volleyball $40

Check any sporting stores. Scheeles, Play it Again, Nike, or any other store like them should have them. Spandex can be anywhere from $15-50. I would recommend getting a good, name brand that costs around $25-30. I love Adidas spandex. They are my personal favorite.

You can buy spandex from many places. Scheels has many types of spandex from black to patterned also short to long. Big 5, and online stores help to find them too. I prefer Under Armor and Asics

Big 5 comes to mind but Danskin would be a better. They might even have something geared for what you want? I know you feel self councious but believe me your better off asking. Besides these other players started somewhere right? hope this helps

welll i just bought some a few hours ago at D**ks Sporting Goods. i went to sports authority and didnt find nay, but there were a lot at D**ks
