Volleyball help??????

I really want to start volleyball, but I only know basic rules ect. I need a teacher or instructor to give me private training or something like that so I can try for a volleyball club in my area eventually. any tips, or help would be heaps amazing. Thanks!!!

Well first of all, what state do you live in? If you are in a larger city or town, you can always go to a gym! Find out if they are running any pick up games or if they know of any volleyball being offered? Next, unless you are willing to pay someone to coach you, then you will need to go to a gym in your area, i assure you that most mid level or advanced players are more then willing to helping a new bee coming into the sport and if you are willing to work hard and listen you will the training you need. well i bought a volleyball, and i train whit my friends and stuff..(now im at Spartak my club) watch it on tv and your gonna lern new tricks..good luck!

Make sure you get knee pads! Spandex pants are the easiest to move arond in. For shoes i use Asiacs (dont know how its spelled sorry). Hope this helps good luck. P.S there might be some volleyball vids on youtube! :)
