Does the Carnival Glory have a full court basketball court?

Please help! I have a question about volleyball and basketball court?

  • okay, so i am getting ready to try out for my middle school volleyball team. (8th grade only) and i have a question about the court size. the official length of a volleyball court is about 59 foot. but in our gym we use the court for volleyball AND basketball. so in that case will the volleyball court still be 59 feet. i need this so i can get the correct length to serve in my backyard. THANKS!

    yes it is played on the bball court but there are seperate lines it is much shorter probably what you said is right

For most schools, they use the same courts for many many sports. It isn't practical to have different gyms for different sports unless your school is really really rich. What they do is have different lines for the outlines for different sports. A basketball is much bigger than a volleyball court so what they do is put a different color line inside that basketball court that is used for the volleyball court. Don't worry about, every single volleyball court in competitive play will be exactly 18 meters long ( ~ 59 feet) Hope this helped

Yes, it will still be 59 feet. There are seperate lines just for volleyball. Look for two metal circles on either side of the gym.. this is where the volleyball poles go.
