Do your arms and hands hurt when you block in volleyball?

No it doesn't hurt at all once you get used to it - it would only hurt if you aren't used to playing. The ball is soft it doesnt hurt when you get hit by it at all - i find it quite funny in the way it hits you in different places. Yes it is worth playing even if it does hurt a little its a fun game

they usally get red but when you get used you get used to it it dosent hurt.

HONEY i'm 6'1 and i still dis locate my thumbs when i block. you should wrap them by the trainer because it saves a lot of pain in the ending

It doesn't really hurt when you get hit by the ball, it's just a small sting, less pain than getting a shot. Yes it is worth it for your arms because in the end if you win or lose by one point you will feel absolutely feel great because you tried your hardest.

no they dont hurt... only time they hurt is when i have a jamed finger.

No, my hands don't really hurt, unless its a REALLY hard hit. no, there usually isnt much pain, yes it is sooooooooooo worth the liittle amount of pain!! NO PAIN-NO GAME!
