How could i improve my vertical fast?

I need to improve my vertical, my explosion, and I need to get my legs and arms stronger. How do I do that?

  • I play volleyball and basketball and I would like to improve my vertical for spiking and blocking for volleyball and for rebounds and stuff in basketball, I need to improve my explosion for volleyball, and my legs and arms need to be in top shape for both seasons cause I've slacked the last month or two because of a family emergency. Any advice?

    as far as strengthening your arms and legs, you're going to want to lift everyday. alternate between doing your arms one day and legs the other. do exercises like bicep curls and skull crushers for arms, and leg press and squats for legs. as far as improving your vertical, you have to do plyometrics. things like jumping as high as you can repeatedly for like 3 sets of 20 or so. or getting those step platforms and jumping up onto those for reps. check out this site for specifics: http://www.donchu.com/articles/article6/

well i am a volleyball player myself and what my coach made us do is do alot of arm and leg excerises and run alot we would always practice you wanna make sure your bumps and spikes are perfect you might wanna do some push ups some sit ups and run work on your sport for as long as you can :))) hope it helped
