Do peoples in Paris, France play sports?

My mom wants me to play sports i dont like.what do i tell her?

  • Okay my mom just called me and told me I have to play vollyball.IDK!! how to play & I relly dont want to.She want me to play basketball too.I did in my 5th,6th,and 7th grade year and now in the 8th she wants me to play again.I mean i knwow how to play but im not that good,bc all my coaches i had really never let me play.So now that im older i feel i can say no to stuff like that.But instead when i told her i didnt want play she went crazii and told me i had to try out,Now if i dont make it i would be embarssed(& i told her that).she was like idc your still trying out.The only sports i really like is Track and dance!!But no she doesnt want me try out for dance(but track is fine)I mean shes being really rude.she want me to play all the sports that she did.including softball.Huh!!!!!Her and my dad are so rude sometimes.I have to play Bball no if ands or buts about it.help how can i tell em i dont wanna play b4 tryouts start!!Hlep

    i had to playy sports i dont like and play the flute i told my mom it got in the way of school and that worked likea charm now i get to dance again and only play volleyball no flute or basketball

i think that you should just be honest with your mom..she should understand..i think no one likes doing something that they don't feel like doing..ask your mom how she would feel if she was in your shoes and her parents made her do something she really didn't want to do. hope that helps!

All the physical activities your doing are helping towards track! keeping fit will help you excel in track no matter what sport you were playing before. so if your parents make you play something just think how it will help you in the long run. you can try making a deal with your parents like "if i play volleyball then i get to do dance too" that way you both get something out of it. whatever you do dont take it out on your team! if you really dont want to play volleyball dont make the rest of the team suffer just try your best. you can also try bifing tryouts so you wont get picked. be respectfull but just hit the ball the wrong way!

play anyway, its not just about the sport why parents make their kids play. there are many reasons having an activity will have a positive impact on a childs social abilitys, behavior, self disipline, morals, and work ethic. it also gives a child a guaranteed space to fill some time of a couple days a week. play the sport, if you dont like it, try a different one next time. I bet if you chose one, they wouldnt make you play one you didnt want to play. give it a shot, you cant hate everything. you will find you may like somthing you think you have no interest in as for basketball, you already tried it, and dont like it, so you shouldnt have to keep playing, but keep trying other activities.

if she brings it up again say mom .... i really dont like playing those sports and besides im no good at them. there is no point in playing a sport im no good at and that i hate. Sorry mom but i'm not going to play those sports. and bring up how you like dance and you would enjoy trying it. also try out for track if you like it. just be calm when talking to her and tell her how you feel about playing those sports.
