    To make it easy: YES!!! Camps and playing club vball is the way to go if you want to hone in on your skills! At most camps, you will have access to experienced players and coaches who are there to make sure you improve your skills before you leave. I would also recommend finding some OPEN GYM vball around your area so you can get more play time than you normally would. i've played volleyball since i was five, and now i am fifteen. i used to go to camps every single summer for volleyball, and it helps a lot. it teaches you the steps, andgives you the skills to improve. now, i teach volleyball camps, and i get a lot of money for it, and private lessons.

I'm now 17 and I've played volleyball since I was 7. Going to camps not only improves your game, but teaches you new ways to play the game. If you don't go to camps throughout the summer, you're going to be WAY behind the rest of the team and more likely to sit out the entire year.

Yes but only if the camp is run correctly and if you take the instructions and apply them to your game. Camps are how I learned to play better and learn better systems of play so It helped me out a lot.
