How to prepare for volleyball camp?

I'm going to volleyball camp July 18, (Bentley College Volleyball Camp), and I have NO idea how to prepare. They said on the site to be in good physical condition for camp, but I don't know how to do that! I've been playing volleyball for about a year now, but I've never been to a volleyball camp before. This is what I need to know: 1.)What should I do to get in good physical condition? 2.)What important things should I practice before going to camp? Also, if you have ever been to Bentley Volleyball Camp, or are going, can you tell me what it is like? And what I should expect? Thank you everybody!

well, i am trying out for volley ball next year;; and i'll be in 8th grade(yes!!:D) . but i'm trying to get in shape too,, every day i'm doing lunges,, so those help A LOT. i just stated doing them three days ago and i'm seeing a difference. crunches also help a ton. and i'm preparing by having my friends help teach me,((who play volley ball)) i either go to their house and practice, or when we have time at school. practice your serve,, that is really important for being on a real team, so it should be at a camp. just flow with the volley ball(: and have fun

Well the camp itself will wip you into shape...however. If you want to prepare before the camp, you should do some cardio, maybe some interval training... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interval_training. Also do the drills that you do in pratice... Stretch daily Since you are already playing volleyball, why don't you ask your coach...

I'm going to Bentley, and I'm sooo excited! Don't worry, you'll be ok. Go to sportskool.com, they have EVERYTHING you need to know about volleyball. As far as physical conditioning goes, stick to running around the block almost every day for at least 20 minutes. Then make sure you lift weights, and do regular cardio exercise. hope I helped!

well if you have played volleyball before just practice like you would before a game or something. also get your arms ready for hitting the ball constantly so and i don't know run around your block a few times hope i helped!!

just practice everyday and do lots of running... they will make you run most definitely and stretch so that you dont get any injuries!
