What is j/v volleyball? whats the difference between a team b team and j/v?

Most high schools have a Varsity, Junior Varsity and a C-Team/JVC (I am guessing this is what you mean by A and B team!) Varsity: This is the best team. It will have the best coaches and the most experienced players. It is also the most intense. JV: This team is one level below varsity. The players are basically preparing to play varsity and replace the seniors who graduate. JVC: This team is for beginners. They focus on learning the game and while they have matches they are not very competitive. Some schools make this an all-freshman team and put all of the freshman on it. At least at my school, JVC was really chill. I don't think they won any games last year but they had a lot of fun based on the loudness of their practices! I suppose a school could have two JVC teams if enough people tryout, in which case the teams might be called A and B. It would be logical that A would be slightly better than B in that case. Hey ! Haha there is no difference between a b team & a, a team. They just put the players who are better than some players on the a team, however if you don't play well you play on b. & or they choose randomly. The JV team for volleyball is the team who's really good & better than the a & b team. So.. Work hard ! Hopefully you'll make the JV team :D
