Ear infection tips?

Help !! , While iWent Swimming iGot Water Im My Ear & iCant Get It Out !!! :(?

• So i went swimming and i stayed under to long and when it was time to go home i got out & i couldn't hear anything so i pawned my head and ears and i managed to get the water out from my left ear , but not my right ear .. i then got home & i told my dad and he also say'd pown your ear till it comes out , i got annoyed cause EVERYONE SAYS THAT & IT NEVER WORKS FOR ME ! - __ - , So i asked my mom and she said get rubbing alcohol and put drops in your ear , i did and nothing .. it got more hard to hear from that ear .. i Gave up And called it a day even tho it was night time already . . The next day i straight up just could not hear anything from that ear , & i got scared & i woke up early and told my mom to TAKE ME TO WALGREENS To get some ear drops , When we arrived i found some ear drops and i found "Ear Wax Removal Drops" & i Thought it might be ear wax the reason i cant hear .. But Then i found a "Water Removal Drops" & i didn't know what to get , so my mom asked and told the whole story to the pharmacist And He said Oh Get "EAR WAX REMOVAL DROPS" & Im like WTF ? o __ o " , So whatever hes a pharmacist and he should know .. i got home and played on my computer and my hearing did get better & when my dad got home he said "have you put on your drops and i said No ' , & then he told me to go put them on & So i did .. i put the ear wax removal drops in my ear and waited , i got up and several mins later i removed the drops as it said in the directions & it got worse !! .. i stayed on my bed and my head was faced on the side of the bad and almost deaf infected ear side - __ - , And still nothing .. at this point i was giving up and i went on the computer to find ou what to do & then i found this infection called Swimmers Ear" & i got even scarrrreeeddd ! , iDont want my ear to turn out like that ! , i Dont know what to do at this point and i dont wana get that infection ! .. :( *** i Dont even know if its the water cause when i got out of the pool i could not hear from My "R" Ear , and then i cleand my ear with the Q-Tip it got worse .. Could it be the ear wax OR water still stuck in my ear . What Should i do should i go to the doctors or something , do yall have any tips to do ? The Day i When to the pool was On 6/13/11 at night , And Today Is 6/15/11 . Im i not to late to go to the doctors and am i not to late to get the infection ..   i love how u write everything first with smaller case then with capital like apple! anyways, so what u want to do is to hope on one leg the same one that u got water in ur ears (so for example u want to get water out of ur write ear, so u stand on ur right leg) then lean ur head the same direction (so to the right!) and hop as much as u can and the water will come out instantly. (thats what she said) hope that helped :D
