Pressure under both ears when outside?

Pressure in my ears when underwater?

  • I can't swim but i stay in the shallow water in our pool which is only 3-4 feet. But even then, when i go under water I feel pressure and it feels werid I dont like it! When i try to float on my back and the water goes in, it feels so werid. Is there any way to stop that? do u ever get used to the pressure?? help!

  • Answer:

Chew gum while you swim and go under water. The pressure is from the weight of the water. Try to clear your ears by holding your breath and forcing pressure to pop your ears, or swallow a lot. Its the same thing when you fly in a plane and you feel the pressure differentiation in the ear.

If it is really hurting when you get in and out, it is swimmers ear probably. You can get ear drops to help it. or maybe you just need ear plugs to stop water getting in.

Earplugs will keep the water from going in your ears but really won't help the pain of the pressure much I do the same thing and I always have since I was little I don't think theres much to help it at least not from my experience
