What are the swimming lakes in WA?

Any Clear Lakes Ideal For Mermaid Swimming?

• Okay so I'm a girl and I live in Ireland. I go to New York about once a year to see my relatives and i go on holidays a lot. I was wondering is there any good lakes or oceans that are very clear/crystal clear that would be great for swimming? I have my own mermaid tail so I just want a place to use it and I dont like going to the pool because lots of people stare at me and it makes me feel uncomfortable. I dont have a pool out my back because I live in Ireland and the weather is too cold over here for that and we cant afford a pool financially. So please just any good lakes/rivers/seas/oceans that are clear and Ideal for swimming in New York, South West Ireland Or Europe would be great help :) Please Help! x

  New York is pretty heavily polluted. The issues with swimming in open water is that you shouldn't swim alone in case you run into any trouble and there will always be people around. I know a woman who swims in a pool in her tail and just keeps to herself. People surf in Ireland. You could always get in touch with your local surfing community/surf shop. They may think it strange but you would have experienced open water swimmers out there with you and that would be the safest. Just get a thick wetsuit to keep you warm and make sure you understand waves and weather conditions. Body surfing in a tail would be fun!
