What Is The Highest Blocking Moldable Earplugs?

How many times should you use earplugs?

  • I am currently studying for a VERY hard test (the MCAT), and I've been using earplugs to block out all ambient noise, which has been working so far. However, I was concerned with the suggested lifetime of a pair of earplugs. I've been using one pair for about 2 weeks, and I just wanted to know whether or not that's safe to do. I've looked all over, and asked my mom, whose a nurse, and she said that in the hospital they never re-use earplugs. I understand that hospitals take special precautions, but should I do as well?

  • Answer:

If prolonged noise levels above 85db or higher, then it would be wise to wear some form of ear protection. I would use the disposable ear plugs, earmuffs, or maybe even collapsible folding headband, they look like head phones and they fold up. There are some ear plugs that can be washed and re-used. These reusable ear plugs can save you a little money but the throw away plugs are cheap and can be bought by a box full.
