How can i become captain of the swim team and get on varsity?

I really wanna get on varsity on the swim team this year! Im gonna be a Juniro in highschool this year when school starts. I already started practicing at a swim club and they said i improved. Im gonna start swimming at the club again soon. At my school you earn varsity points or something to get on varsity and we vote for our captias at the end of the year. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Becoming a captain is about leadership. You need to be able to talk to others, help other, be a lead role, the go to person, take control when the time is right, not be cocky, a lot of practice and hard work. You need to be the person that others look up to but respect each other genuinely.
