How to not get your hair wet with a swimming cap?

What's a good way my hair won't get wet during swimming?

  • Ok see, I go swimming Mondays,wednesdays and Fridays an for an example I went swimming yesterday, my hair was straightened and I tried to put a shower cap and a swimming cap over it but my hair still got wet. Is there some type of cap or trick so my hair won't get wet? Thank you :-)

    wear one of those things olymics wear to help them keep straight in the water. Its like a rubber thing you put on your head...whats it called,....sorry

Wear a swim cap. A latex one will stay on better and keep your hair dry longer.

I've been swimming for a VERY long time. Since I was at least 3 years old. There is little hope for your hair to not get wet even when it's under a swim cap. The problem is that when you flip-turn or even go underwater, the water pressure will push water up into your cap because there is still little bits of air in your cap/hair. I wish keeping water out of your cap was preventable, but realistically it's not. The only tiny bit of luck I've had is using a silicone cap. It has to be a nice, thick one, though if it's going to be of ANY help. I don't particularly like silicone because of the fact that they are thicker and therefore, hotter when you're practicing. Hope this helps.

wear a swim cap they wear them in pro swimming and or olympics. sometimes people will just wear them cuz they dont want their hair wet or they wear them cuz their hair may slow them down

Well make your hair up like a bun and then put that rubber kinda cap.
