Where can I find an Affordable Swimming Lesson for kids??

  • I'm looking for a swimming school for kids (5-7 years old) in San Jose or any city around here. Can you please let me know if there are any schools around here and please state the rates if you know. Thanks

    The YMCA offers pretty good learn to swim programs and everyone knows where the nearest one is. I personally think the Red Cross programs are a little better. Contact your local Red Cross or Recreation Department and see where their classes are. After you choose one try and be on deck for the lessons if possible. Watch the instructors and see what works. Most of the techniques are similar from program to program so learn them yourself and give your kids some more instruction on your own.

if you have a ymca around you they usually have them pretty cheep (50-125) for 5-8 weeks (1 a week)
