How to become a beach-certified lifeguard in Miami?

Hi everyone, I would appreciate if people that are certified lifeguards would tell me their story of how they became lifeguards. I'm interested in becoming a lifeguard this summer, if possible. I am 40, i can swim, i can dive. What else do I need to know to become a lifeguard? Do you know of schools or academies where I can take lifeguard training class and to learn how to do the CPR and other things. I would really appreciate that any certified lifeguard give me his/her advise.
