Could swimming be the reason my back is so strong?

Can you get a doctor's note to skip the swimming test for no real reason (california)...?

  • So I live in San Francisco and we need to pass the swimming test to graduate high school. Ok so I don't know how to swim and I'm about to become a senior in high school. I'm taking swimming lessons right now but I'm not liking them. I almost drowned today and no one even tried to help me. I barely know how to swim at all and the instructors make us learn at the deep water (12 ft). So I think the only other way to pass the swimming test is with a doctor's note. So does anyone know if a doctor will write me a note because I don't know how to swim? I don't have any diseases or allergies so I'm not sure if they will.

    I don't think the academic fraud is worth an F on your school transcripts when trying to make a college choice. Plus, so not to lose their license to be a physician, the doctors are not going to write you a bogus note. Keep on working on your swimming, once you get it, you will enjoy it. Knowing how to swim may save your life some day.

wooowww a live in SF too but anyways, some of my friends told me they tried that and it worked? so i guess you can give it a try. but swimming is a really good benefit and can prolly save your life one day.

You might be able to if you can find a doctor to write the note. I would learn to swim though, it's a valuable skill.
