Steamed up watch?

  • I got a new watch for xmas and forgot to take it when i went swimming, my boyfriend got it for me and isnt too happy iv ruined it, how can i dry it out? Iv tried leaving on the radiator overnight and it doesnt seem to work.

    You'd be best taking it to a watch repairer. If the water has got into the movement it can cause serious problems, so get someone qualified to take care of it. If it's a digital watch then I don't think there will be much they can do.

What kind of watch is it ?? If you can, take the back off it and then put it on a radiator, this will dry it out. This is the easiest way to try and do it yourself. If that doesn't work then take it to a jeweller and let them sort it out for you.
