How to clear yellow water from my swimming pool?

  • I have a little easy set 12x3ft swimming pool. We filled it with water and it's yellow. It also had black flakes in it. We have ran the filter with chlorine tablets and have now added shock. But since adding the shock our pool water looks worse. What could be causing our water to be so yellow. It's so yellow that it looks like we used it as a toilet and have never flushed it. We let the hose run for a good 10minutes before we ever used it to fill the pool, so any rust should have ran through. Any thoughts?

    drain and then refill repeat it should go out then put chlorine tablets in it and fill it back up! god bless

easy just get all the water out of the pool. go inside the empty pool and scrub it with commet. you might use a whole bottle. dot worry than was out the commet and e sure to was it out good! Fill the pool with water and put in like 2-5 clorine tablets into the water. Wait about 12 hours before going in.

Might be rust, but a filter should clear it up. Maybe you did not run the filter long enough, or the filter needs to be checked.

drain it, call a professional to clean out all the pipes and scrub the pool down, fill it up and make it have the proper PH balance daily and clean it daily with a long net, don't pee in it, and cover it when it is not in use... unless you use it tons then clean it tons...
