Do women wear underwear(swim shorts) when wearing their swimsuit ?

  • Do women wear underwear(swim shorts) when wearing their swimsuit? Do you have swim shorts in your country ? Just wondering because JAPANESE do have swim shorts to wear under the swimsuit to prevent pubic hair from escaping out the side of the swimming suit/bikini and prevent from transparency of wet swimsuit/bikini showing through the pubic hair. (Japanese ladies tend to be very hairy and dark haired down there) Is it only a JAPANESE thing ? I want to know which country are you from as well. Thank you for answering my question !

    Must just be a Japaneese thing. I know they have some taboo's about showing pubic hair in public. But I have changed at the pool five days a week for years now and I have never seen a girl put anything on under her suit.

No, here in America women do not wear underwear underneath their bathing suits. It is pretty common for American women to shave their "bikini line" completely, and either shave the rest or at least keep it trimmed.

Im from Canada and we dont wear swimming shorts under our bathing suits. Iv been to America many times and they dont have them either. We normally wax or shave our bikini line to prevent pubic hair from showing. Im sure if you went to North America and wore swimming shorts under your swimsuit nobody would care. As an alterntive, you can buy swimming bottoms that are a boy short cut. Below is a picture as to what im talking about! Lots of stores in North America sell this style of swimsuit! Hope this helps!

Well I can't speak for anyone else but I do not wear a underwear under my bathing suite. There is no need for them for me. That is so gross. My boyfriend lived over in Japan for 6 months and he did say the girls over there are VERY hairy......So gross. I'm glad most girls in the states know how to shave or at least keep trimmed.

Well in america we don't wear undershorts under our swim suits because we are to self concious to let it get out of hand. We were all inspired by the play boy bunnys who ALWAYS look perfect so basicly we dont wear under shorts under our swim suits. Hope this helped.

I'm from the U.S. No, the majority of women probably don't. You have to be nice and trimmed, though, maybe even a wax job. You can wear shorts over your suit, if you're more comfortable that way.
