What day does the swimming World Championships in Rome start?

  July 18. This is the official page of games http://www.roma09.it/en/index.html i don't know in USA if will be on television. Here in Italy we can see them on RAI. RaiTre follow the preliminary competitions that will be played throughout the day, between 9.00 and 19.00, while Rai Uno will focus on swimming by the end of July 26 to August 2 from 19.00 to 20.00. The water polo will be exclusively on RaiTre, and forward in prime time lots of water polo Settebello and Setterosa scheduled for July 20 and 21 respectively against the U.S. and Hungary.
