There is an old website that I want to remove from search engines. How do I do it.?
-
The website has been replaced by another but I cannot get in touch with the creator of it to take it down. I need to get it removed from search engines as the information is incorrect and out of date
-
Answer:
Search engines search using their own language. You have no power to remove it from the search engines unless you can contact the people in charge of it. The information for the Website must be changed by someone with access to it.

you need the person who has access to the server. you could try to contact the hosting CO. but I don't think it will help. in the future you should have access to the hosting company for your websites. so if you lose a webmaster you can just get a new one.
