How do I wash my rash vest?

• I recently bought a white Billabong rash vest, and I need to wash it. I already did what the instructions told me (rinse in cold water, drip dry out of sunlight, and warm handwash), but I have brown colour on the sleeve from the sand. So am I washing it correctly? And is there any detergent or soap that I can use?

  if you have followed the instructions then you have washed it right. white things get dirty especially in the ocean. it wont stay white.
