Is there anything that would prevent me from entering international water territories on a kayak?

Can you answer my concerns about swimming? please?

  • I'm kind of a germ-o-phobe. Well I wash my hands before I handle anything. Basically I think swimming will be a good way for me to fix my body posture and proportional shoulders. It will tone me up because I don't want to get buff. My concern is that i'm afraid that the water will enter my private part holes. Is it possible? or does air bubbles or something like physics prevent water from entering the holes in my body? I go to a gym that has a pool. It's kind of small and there is no kids there. I feel like swimming for about an hour as exercise instead of liftingweights. because i feel it will be better for my joints and muscles. since my posture is bad i think swimming will help fix it. but i'm just worried about dirtiness. also does the water get inside my private parts through my holes. hahahha. sorry it sounds ridiculous but please answer seriously. i want to swim but that's just my concern. i want some convincing.

  • Answer:

Don't worry about the water! Pool water has a chemical called chlorine. Chlorine (and also bromine, which are found in hot tubs) kill living organisms, BUT it kills the smallest living organisms first. In other words, chlorine kills germs! If you are a germ-o-phobe, one of the cleanest places to be is inside a pool. When you are done swimming, you'll notice a smell on you. That is the smell of the chlorine. Just swim and have fun. Don't worry about germs.

I would highly recomend a machine that does lower back excersises. There is one where you stick ur butt :-) into this corner and lean back and streighten your back. It helped my posture but if you don't want to you don't have to. And the only way water will get in is if you float upside down and fart then water will rush in O_O

just get over it, other ppl swim there too and theyre fine so just pretend that its your own pool

The water in swimming pools is very carefully monitored to be certain that pH and chlorine levels will kill most of the bacteria that could grown in it. Consider this, millions of people go swimming every year without getting sick. Also, they use tap water to fill swimming pools and it is the same water you shower with.

Do not worry. As a lifeguard, I can tell you that there are very stringent laws worldwide about this sort of thing. the chemicals, such as chlorine, bromine or salt, need to be kept at very exact chemicals, and if they are not, the pool can be shut down. As for getting "waterlogged" do not worry about that, because it would be the same scenario as having a bath or shower. Go. Swim. Have Fun. Get Fit.

I started when I was a teenager and we used to go to the river to swim since we did not have a swimming pool. We lived in the country. But to try to answer you seriously you have no need to worry about water entering anywhere in your private parts. And I wish to add that I think it would be a very good exercise for you. I have done it often and enjoy it greatly. Wish you the best and happy swimmind.
