What do u have to do to become a cameraman?

How can I become an underwater cameraman?

• I now how to swim , but not to dive. I am cameraman with HDV equipment. I live in Los Angeles, CA. What training centers can I find in this area? Where else is this service available if not in LA?

  I wlould suggest checking with the local college's videography departments first to see if there are any educational degrees or requirements that you could have on your resume to give you more clout so to speak. Second suggestion is to get certified in scuba as soon as you can even go as far as to learn using a rebreather which is less bubbles.
