Best way to rinse of my wetsuit at home?

  • I have a wetsuit that I use at home for swimming in my pool. Rinsing off the wetsuit with a hose is somewhat of a chore. I'm wondering if people have suggestions about how to quickly and easily rinse of the wetsuit. Right now, I take the wetsuit off, lay it on the ground inside out and hose it down. Then turn it inside out again and hose it off again.

    Buy a wooden axe handle for churning and stirring. Then fill your bathtub with 5 inches of warm water and wet suit shampoo. Let it soak a while and churn and stir. Do a warm rinse cycle, churn and stir. Take it out and hang it outside. Also--Please do it this way, because pool agents are MUCH more harmful to your suit than sea water salt. You really need to soak it, or it will get old and worn from chlorine eating away at it!

Fill a big bucket, and dip it a couple times.

put in the shower and let it sit for like inutes thats what i do

Put water in the bathtub and submerge your suit in there. Let is soak for a couple of minutes. Hang it up and let it dry. You have to get the pool chemicals out of it or it can rot.

Push a broom handle through the sleeves and hang it up then hose it down, but you will still have to turn it inside out. Ever thought of getting yourself a dry suit, less of a palaver.

it's best if you rinse it off with sink water, not the house. the water from a hose is only meant for the grass and its surroundings. just place is under a faucet, maybe even the tub faucet. you have more room that way and it's easier.

I usually have a(new) trash can filled with fresh water, then I dip it in and out a few times rinsing it, then a quick hose down and hang to drip dry it. After you use it a month worth, use a shampoo wetsuit and clean it good, so the stiching won't rot.
