I know exactly where you're coming from here, as I have similar problems when buying wetsuits--they're always either too short, or too loose. If you've had no luck finding an off-the-peg suit that fits, there are several possible solutions, but all will require the services of a neoprene tailor. You can either get one custom-built (which may be expensive), or you could try and find an off-the-peg suit which is a good fit length-wise and then get it adjusted to fit you width-wise (cheaper). In Britain, many companies offer made-to-measure drysuits which can be ordered online (I Google-d 'wetsuits/drysuits made to measure' and got 1000s of hits), and many will also build wetsuits (as the techniques are virtually identical), but you have to provide them with accurate measurements. There's often some kind of sizing chart which you can print out and fill in, although you might need some help with the tape measure. I don't know whether they'd be willing to deliver overseas, but you could always ask. If not, there are similar companies in the US. Without knowing where you live, I can't help any further than that, but any city which has lots of divers/surfers/sailors probably has at least one neoprene tailor (try Yellow Pages, or your local dive shop). I currently live in Germany, and I know of at least two in Hamburg, which is the nearest big city. There were also neoprene tailors in both Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, where I used to work as a scuba instructor, so I imagine there would also be tailors in any similar sized resort city in e.g. Florida, California, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand... Good luck with your search.

I am 6'-9" tall and 220 lbs, so we are in the same boat. I buy off the rack and then have it sent back to the manufacturer for longer legs and arms. The manufacturer will take the last section off each limb and install a longer panel. On my last wetsuit (Body Glove), I think it cost $30 + shipping for the modification. For something like this, ordering online won't work. You need to head to a surf or scuba shop and try some suits on.

any good surf shop should be able to order one for you
