What sunscreen do you recommend?

What sunscreen do you recommend when one gets in the pool to avoid skin damage ?

  • Answer:

Depends on how well you tan. You would usually use a minimum of SPF 8, but if you're someone who doesn't tan and burns pretty easily, you want at least SPF 30 or 45.

I use an Avon Sport sunscreen thats waterproof and sweatproof, and whats so nice about it is that it is a spray on liquid, not a cream. It dries very quickly and is a 45 spf.

Most sunscreens block UVB rays, but there are very few that block UVA rays. Look for a sunscreen that blocksUVB and UVA rays. Aveeno and Neutrogena have a sunscreen that blocks both. Most people only look at spf and pay no attention to what kind of rays the sunscreen blocks.
