What is the average price for an above ground swimming pool?

Can an above ground swimming pool stand if it does not have a top support rail or side supports?

  • Long story short we were putting up our pool and due to some SERIOUS wind issues the pool walls got out of the track at the bottom of the pool. (Only half the pool wall is out of the track) Call it stupidity, and the fact we were really irritated with it, we kidded ourselves into thinking the wall would magically go into the track once it had water in it. Well it didn't exactly do that, part of the wall went over the tract. We now realize that due to the fact the wall has gone on the wrong side of the track we can not put up our side supports. Without the side supports we cannot put up the top rail on the pool. Everything is holding ok right now, (It probably has 5,000 gallons of water in it) we are just kind of stuck and don't know what to do? Is the only option taking it down and starting over? It's a 24' round pool. Please only answer if you have actual pool knowledge, yes we know we messed up and now we need help. Thank you : )

  • Answer:

You will have to drain it and fix the tracts. it will be unstable the way you have it.
