How can I find a rugby team to join?

  • I'm a student in Chester, England and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to join a rugby team? I didn't join my university's team because I joined the Gaelic football team instead but that just got dissolved so I'm now pretty bored with no sports to play. I would just join the university rugby team but I'm in my third year so I'm unsure if it's worth it. Any tips and advice on how to approach teams or how to find amateur teams would be great. O and I don't really care if it's Rugby League or Union but I'd probably go with Union cuz that's what I follow on the TV

You need to rugby league it befor its how you get remendid I went to st helans for try out and got quit far but broke my leg but that how to start go to your local rugby team and ask if there doing try outs they give you a date then your sorted if they line you up take about a month tho

Chester RUFC would seem a good choice, they are next to the A55/M53 just outside Chester, nice club. They are level 5, currently third place in the table (with a game in hand), in National League 3 North.
