What position is best to play in rugby league as a beginner?

I play center in rugby league but now my position is changed in to hooker so any advice ?

    You might need to improve your passing especially to your worse side, just get a bag of balls and stand in between the sticks a couple of metres in and just practice passing off the floor passing at each upright. But the main difference is that you're going to be a lot more in control of the game at hooker so I would just watch as much rugby as you can, sky plus a few games and focus on what the hooker is doing, e.g directing the play to the right side of the field and then back to the middle for the last tackle or what stage of the game is he passing to the forwards and when is he passing it out the back?

Learn to pass, learn to flick the ball up for quick ball to forwards running on to it, long range kicking is a bonus and always follow the ball so u have to be fit. Preferably follow players to the side incase a offload etc. An if u can, learn the "Mouse Trap" thats one of the best plays in the amateurs
