What position does ronaldinho play?

What rugby position should i play?

  • I really need to truly find out what rugby position I play. I'm 63kg -65kgs heavy i'm 13 (I'm not very fat most of its muscle) im between 5ft 4 and 5ft 8 I am fast runner (I play wing now and again) and i'm strong I started as a winger and moved on to center. I mad an u13 rep team and played winger and center for them. after that i went down to Christchurch to play rugby for my intermediate school. Down there i played Blindside flanker because my coach thought i had potential as a flanker. He was right i had good pushes in scrums and was good at blowing over. When i got back up to nelson i got into the u65kg team and was playing winger for them. When our one of our flankers was injured i stepped in to play for them. my coach was impressed at how well i played as a flanker and decided to leave me there. he also made me play prop is well (but not very much) I am an a average kicker (i can drop goal from 20 to 30 metres back) i have a good grubber and a good chip. my i still haven't decided what position i should play. with college rugby teams coming up next year it would be really helpful to find out what position would suit me best (I want to play professional rugby when i'm older)

  • Answer:

stick with with playing on the wing and centre move into 2nd five your grubber and chip kicks would be an advantage also you can drop kick from between 20-30 metres very handy in tight match watch old matches involving Aaron Mauger that sounds more like you otherwise you'll end up being a utility player only, that has it advantages but it has major drawbacks as well, you need to specialise, so take the summer off enjoy the company of freinds and family take the time out to decide, your professional already in attitude, you now have to decide where to play, good luck i hope to see you in top flight competition in the future.

The open side flanker is the best spot on the field. Try to stay there.
