The 2011 Rugby World Cup broadcast rights in the USA are held by NBC and their Universal Sports affliate. NBC has agreed to show the final on the main network, but the bulk of the games will be on the cable Universal channel. I understand that Eagles games will be broadcast live, but most games will be delayed, which makes sense given the time difference with New Zealand. Well basically all rugby viewers in the USA have been screwed by NBC and its woe some affiliate. We get 3 live games on NBC out of 48. Of course you can watch on your computer....wouldn't want you to miss that authentic antique NFL coverage that we were so happy to say goodbye to. What we need is some attorney to start a class action. But then cleverly NBC have left us little time to take action against them. And here was me thinking that nothing could have been worse than Setanta.
