What rugby union league should I follow?

• I live in America, and I want to start following a professional rugby union league, but don't know whether to pick Top 14, English Premiership, or Super Rugby. Which league is the most popular/easiest to follow for an American?

  For an American, it would probably be the Premiership and/or the Magners League, not because the quality of rugby is better than in the other Leagues, but strictly for practical reasons. French rugby is very exciting, but you are going to have difficulty finding Top-14 games broadcast in English. And even though the Super 15 has what is (arguably) the best quality of rugby, you are going to have problems with the time zone differences -- most of the games are going to take place in the middle of the night in the United States. The exception would be Super-15 games held in South Africa, which is in the same time zone (more or less) as Britain, Ireland and France. An afternoon game there is early or mid-morning in North America
