How can I get drafted into the MLS?

Do all players who get drafted get to play ?

  • Do most of the players who get drafted in the WHL get to be in the roster and do most of them get drafted in the NHL ? Do most players who get drafted in the NHL get to be on a team permanently?

    Sorry I don't know crap about the whl :( As for the NHL, 210 people are drafted per year and half of them will never play in one nhl game. They will just be in the ahl or some other place.

That's a good Q for me, cause I know Tons about the WHL. If they get drafted by a WHL they don't always play. Some of then just sit around in Bantam or Midget leagues waiting for a player to be out for something. And not all NHL draftees get to play a career in the NHL, maybe a couple games, but not a career

Not all players who get drafted get to play. If your not good enough or they found someone better, you might not play or youll get sent back down to the lower leagues. You only get drafted if you are really good and awesome (at at least something). You dont nessesarily be on a team permanitly because what I said before!!
