What is a good workout plan for a hockey player?

yes that will give you strength and endurance, definitely. however, you should not give up on lifting. always change up your workout. and I would say go for a nice big run about 2-3 times a week. never within two days of hockey though. you must keep your legs in tune, but fresh.
