Should there be a IIHF World U16 Championship like there is World U20?
-
I'm wondering if maybe they should have a World U16 Hockey Championship with like Canada, USA, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia and Germany. Should Canada get all of its best U16 players along with all the other countries and compete for a trophy like the World Juniors?

Answer:
What's the point of having an under-16 if you already have an under-17? The skill level isn't all that much different.

They have a World U17 Championship going on right now at the JLC in London Ontario. Canada hosts it every year except the year of the winter games. So 3 out of every 4 years it is held. In fact I'll probably buy tickets for one of the games. Go Ontario!
