Why cant soccer players take off their shirts after scoring goals?

Which players do you see scoring 500+ Goals?

  • in their future Ovechkin-200 Age 23 Crosby- 120 Age 21 Malkin-104 Age 22 Alfredsson-337 Age 36 Getzlaf-81 Age 23 Thornton-252 Age 29 Marleau-265 Age 29 Kovalchuk-278 Age 25 Elias-286 Age 32 Smyth- 302 Age 32 Hossa-330 Age 30 Lecavalier-297 Age 28 Heatley-242 Age 28 i think ovechkin will end up with over 700+goals and kovalchuk is 2nd on the list with over 600+goals. if he ever gets a team around him i could see him up their with ovechkin

  • Answer:

Ovechkin and Kovalchuk definitely. Lecavalier, if he goes injury free for a while. Marleau, if he continues having seasons like this one (which I don;t think he will). Malkin and Crosby, maybe, they're more set-up men, they can do it, but they will take longer than some other guys.

Alexander Ovechkin is one for sure. I can see him finishing with more than 600 goals by the time his career is over, possibly more than 700. Others to go with him are Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin possibly, Ilya Kovalchuk, Marian Hossa possibly and Vincent Lecavalier. Dany Heatley may be back there if he can get a few more 50+ goal seasons.

Of the people you mentioned I think Marleau, Elias, Smyth, and Alfredsson will not reach that milestone. One player you should add though is Gaborik. I know he has had injury problems but there is a very good chance that his current surgery will fix his cronic groin problems (he had the same surgery this last offseasn on the other side of his hip and it fixed his groin problems on that side for good) and he will most likely be playing for a team next year that is more offensive than the Wild. Even with the Wild (who are about the least offensive team in the league) he was top 5 in goals per game in the league since the lockout.
