To answer your question, the Caps game was fine, I would have liked the Pens to have brought it a bit harder and win though, just sayin'. Anyways, let's stop planning the parade for a moment and get back to reality, there is still half a season that needs to be played.

I freaking love Matt Hendricks and think he's several shades of awesome. Damn, he rung that post loud--I heard the clank at the other end of the arena--and I was swearing several shades of blue because had it been a little over, it might have gone in. Really, though, Vokoun stole that one, just like he stole some of the games they played in October. And the fact that the Caps did not have a short-handed situation was also a plus. So: Pens banged up (but then Caps were without Backie and Green) and missing key players. Caps somehow not having a shorthanded situation (check the temperature in hell for that one). Voky in absolute beast mode. For the record, that third period nearly gave me a heart attack. BQ: I think it's one game, against a depleted team, at home. I'm hoping they can get it together and be in beast mode for hungrier, less depleted teams. I think in the middle of the season, with the Eastern Conference very close, it's too soon to say.

I missed the game, I was actually out playing pickup hockey tonight. Who is the "machinehead' your referring to. Please excuse my ignorance, As for the playoffs, I think there's a decent chance the Caps will pick their $hit up and takie one of the bottom three seeds.

He was okay. Chimera looked good, but I thought the Pens should have won. They set the pace most of the game, but a few bad bounces cost them the game. I think that really the only reason the Caps really deserved to win was their discipline. They did a great job, I don't think they took a single penalty BQ Good to know
