Why do all hockey fans (beside Rangers fans) hate the New York Rangers And why do all Refs go against Rangers?

OH AND IM NOT BEING SARCASTIC, RANGERS ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE NO DOUBT....IM SERIOUS RANGERS ARE PLAYING THEIR BEST HOCKEY AND I THINK THEY CAN BEAT ANYONE IN THE LEAGUE RIGHT NOW.........AND WHAT ABOUT GAME 1 ELBOW TO FREDRIK SJOSTROMS FACE WITH THE REF 2 FEET AWAY, (NO CALL)!!!!!!!! SHOULD HAVE BEEN 5 MINUTE MAJOR!!!

LOL...I think you answered your own question. Nobody will ever accuse them of being knowledgable. Everyone is just jealous because they are the best team in the NHL. If you are younger than 11 years old, then we can chalk it up to immaturity and a lack of common sense.......if you are older than 11 then you are in for a miserable life with that IQ.

Reading your Q, I can't think of any reasons why people would dislike Ranger fans, or the Rangers themselves.

in my opinion they are jealous that they don't have a goalie as good as Henrik Lundqvist. He is an amazing goalie, and the reason they are so good. They don't score that often but they usually don't need to because the other team can't get many past him.

I don't like the Rangers because I'm a Devils fan, so it's purely a rivalry thing. I do admit you guys have a really good team though, but you're not the best team in the league. The Rangers may be playing their best hockey, but right now the Bruins are the best. They're playing great and they've got an overall better team.

Shark fan here and i don't hate the Rangers. I actually like Lundqvist and have been very impressed with how Zherdev turned it around this year! BUT, comments like yours make it easy to hate Ranger fans. And lets chill with the Caps.........

o i was at both game 1 and 2 and the rags got away with their fair share of penalties specially in game 1 on the 1st goal there were 2 seperate things that should've been penalties agains the rags that were not called even MSG called them out on it. Yea the whole avery shoving green into the rags bench was perfectly fine riiight. Lets go to game 2 ok? The refs handed the rags a potential for a blowout in that game but the caps penalty kill was on the ball for once. The rangers had what 2 or three powerplays before the caps even had 1 powerplay chance. The green hit was questionbale but its not like the rangers havent won
